Born in Poland, I spent my childhood in the UK and subsequently most of my life in Switzerland, which resulted in my being bilingual in English and French, while also perfectly fluent in Polish.
My preferred target language is English.

Experience
I've been translating off and on since the early 90s. Initially, I did quite a lot of English subtitles for TVP Polonia as well as various feature films. Since then I've done the full range: philosophy articles, press releases, newspaper articles, user manuals, video game dialogues, audits etc.
In between, I've worked in finance as a stock option market maker, IT as a system administrator and web designer and helped operate an internet radio station and run a small graphic design company.
